As a father, I always wanted to teach my children the finer points of professional football, but when I had 2 girls many doubted me.  Well, my daughters might not be NFL geniuses, but my 5 year old has agreed to pick NFL games with me for the season…

 So here you are Courtenay and I picking 3 NFL games, at the end of the season we’ll see if living immersed in the NFL makes any difference in you ability to pick game….

So, Courtenay has the Chiefs, Chargers and Dolphins while I’m going with the Raiders, Chargers and Colts.

On another note…last year several of us here at Pyle of List migrated over to SI.com for the weekends to live-blog the NFL.  Well, they must have been hard up for writers because they asked us back…  This weekend you can find us here…

Will Donovan play?  Is that Saints Offense really that good?  DLamp will be on hand for the 1:05 ET start on Sunday to answer all you questions, and some you didn’t even know you had.

The opening of JerryWorld.  And on top of that a great match-up between 2 bitter rivals.  The Cowboys run defense was awful against the Bucs, Brandon Jacobs and Co. are liable to have career games all around.  But the Giants are missing almost half the defensive backfield.  Should Romo get enough time from his O-line he might just have another record setting day…then again, he could get sacked more than David Carr ever thought possible.  Hang out with JP beginning at 8:20 ET.

Peyton Manning and the Colts offense has come back to the pack when it comes to production.  And the Dolphins have certainly been a team capable of surprising outcomes (ie the Patriots game last year or being a playoff team).  I’ll be with you for the game from 8:30 ET on Monday night.
