It appears that Antonio Cromartie has been fined $2500 by the San Diego Chargers for complaining about camp food on twitter.  Cromartie wrote, “Man we have 2 have the most nasty food of any team.  Damn can we upgrade 4 str8 years the same ish maybe that’s y we can’t we the SB we need.”

At Pyle of List we have obtained the notice sent to the cornerback informing him of the fine.

Mr. Cromartie

it has come to my attention that you have violated my “no Twitter” policy while here at camp.  Traditionally, this would result in extra wind sprints however after reviewing your Tweets, and having them translated into English, I find that you do not care for the food here at camp.  Your comment has earned you a 2500 dollar fine.

On a personal note, might I remind you that there are starving children in China that would be thankful for this food.  Please note you will be recieving extra portions of Brussell Sprouts at dinner tonight and you will not leave the table till you’ve cleaned you plate, mister.

Coach Turner

This is yet another instance where athletes are getting a wagging finger from the powers that be for using social media to share info with the general population.

Twitter cost the NFL nothing to use and provides untold exposure of teams and athletes.

Free exposure and fan interaction can do nothing but grow your fanbase.
