All I’m trying to say with this wordplay is that, yes, it is possible that My Boy KERSHAW!1! could go the entire season without winning a game. It’s also possible that a bear will learn how to ride a horse.

Okay, bad example.

But, despite the blinders of love, I have to admit that KERSHAW!1! did have a poor outing last night. I knew we (yes, I refer to Clayton and I as ‘we’, deal with it) were in trouble when it took him thirty pitches to get through the first inning and he was leaving the ball up and blah blah blah.

Look, we’ve got bigger fish to fry. KERSHAW!1! called me after the game and he is incredibly despondent. He feels neglected and unappreciated by the fans of LA (other than yours truly, of course). He explained how it’s not fair that Manny gets a city in Los Angeles named after him (Mannywood) when the most devistating curve ball in the game gets nothing.

So, I’m here today to start a petition to change the city of Crenshaw to the city of Kershaw.

It makes perfect sense! It certainly sounds closer to the original than Mannywood and carries much more street cred with it. I mean, it’s even been mentioned in a Dr. Dre song! Of course, all mention of the name Crenshaw would be stricken from the record, including Crenshaw Blvd now being Kershaw Blvd, Crenshaw Courthouse being the Kershaw Courthouse, etc.

So please, sign my petition (just add your name in the comments) so we can make this happen, and make the true Dodger hero feel as appreciated as he should be!
