A real American hero

Rep. Joe Barton of Texas (of course) is proposing a bill that would force the BCS to stop referring to the winner of the #1 v. #2 game as the “National Championship” unless it is in the structure of a playoff system.

Now lets settle down for a second.  Somewhere along the way this is going to get killed but…it’s a step in the right direction.

And for those of you who would respond with the stock, “Don’t you think they have better things to do then….?”, yes I do.  But lets face it much like the medical industry, politicians aren’t going to solve those big problems so they might as well kill the little pains of living here so we can be in ignorant bliss as things fall apart around us.

And always remember what I always say “The BCS is a tool of Satan.” So getting rid of it is fighting all that is evil.  That’s pretty important to me.
