Steelers Saftey refuses to cut hair till NFL gets it’s act together…

Steelers Safety and former USC Trojan Troy Polamalu has had it with the the NFL.

The hard hitting DB says, “It’s becoming more and more flag football, two-hand touch.”  Comments come after the NFL has fined Polamalu’s teammate Hines Ward for hits in the last 2 weeks.  Hits he was not penalized for on the field.

And Troy didn’t stop there, “I’m gonna let it grow till you can’t see my number.  If “the Rog” refuses to make this a man’s game, I guess we’re all ladies.  So I’m going to let my mane grow till we can play this game the way God meant for it to be played.”

Polamalu has been touted as one of the hardest hitting players in the NFL, so his displeasure with the current state of sissiness in the league comes as no surprise.  And his Sideshow Bob-like protest has already sparked attention in locker rooms across the NFL.

“I’m in.” Cowboys RB Marion Barber told reporters after practice.  “It’s just a matter of time before I get a fine for not letting some Linebacker tackle me without a fight.  I think this is a great way to make our voices heard. Wish I’d thought of it first.”

And according to Ricky Williams, Polamalu wasn’t the first to think of this.  “I tried to start this a few years ago.  But the league told me to drop it or I’d never play football again so I had to shave.  It’s all a conspiracy.  They just like him better so they gave my idea to him.  And they told me it was going down like this.”  The Miami RB continued for a hour about the NFL led plot to trick players into growing their hair while other players are encouraged to tackle by the hair which the league would collect and sell at a premium as their newest revenue stream.

The league has no comment on Polamalu’s ultimatum or Williams’ claim.
