Pacman Suspended by Videogame Counsel
Long-time videogame icon Adam “Pacman” Pacman was suspended by the World Videogame Counsel after repeated violations of their personal conduct policy.
“We feel like we have given Adam more than enough opportunities to turn his life around,” WVC Chairman Roger Manningham said in a press conference, “it’s a continuation of a disturbing pattern of behavior, and clearly inconsistent with the conditions we set for his continued participation in the videogame world.”
Pacman’s first run in with the WVC came in 2002 when he was busted for using ‘power pellets’ to enhance his performance in the game. Since it was his first violation, he was allowed to avoid a suspension by volunteering 1,000 hours to local soup kitchens.
A popular, and very talented player, just couldn’t stay out of trouble off the screen. In 2007 he was suspended for an entire year for being convicted of abusing his live-in girlfriend, Ms. Britney “Pacman” Alonzo. “He crazy when he drank!” was all Ms. Pacman could muster through her sobs as she sat on the witness stand during the eight month, highly publicized trial.
Pacman claimed to have cleaned up his act after the suspension, but that image was shattered last week when he was caught drunkenly arguing in a men’s bathroom with the guy from Dig-Dug.
“I’m very sorry for my actions, and deserve everything I’ve been handed,” a despondent Pacman told reporters outside of his Malibu mansion. “Mr. Manningham was right and just in suspending me for my actions. I just hope that with the love of my family, and the blessing of God, I can get my head on straight and get back to doing what I love: eating ghosts.”

But Mario can use mushrooms to gain a competitive advantage over his opponents and the council just looks the other way.
Must be nice to be the Jordan of video games.

Pacman is so overrated, the good ghosts get away from him routinely now.
You can take the cat out of the alley……..
